My Last Goodbye

My last goodbye would be “I love you”

Never would I want it to leave me

But goodbye is always hard to say

Whether it’s forever or just for a short time

I never want our argument to end our relations

We loved each other but

Our arguing broke our relationship.

Every time I think of you

I feel broken inside

If only it didn’t have to happen this way

I’ll be here waiting

Maybe we’ll see each other again

Even if it’s the last goodbye

Nothing will ever be the same

You told me goodbye

And I fell into millions of pieces

None that will mend ever again

I never thought it would happen this way

Never will we love each other again

Or at least I never will

I loved you before you broke me

When I had to say goodbye

I never wanted it to happen

But you want it to

We’ll go our separate ways

This will be my last goodbye to you
