Who I BecameA Chapter by GodsOfNeutralityIt's been three years and we haven't spoken since then. I haven't heard the voices either. They probably felt the same way as Anna and decided I wasn't worth their time. I sighed and got ready for my first day of high school. "I'm leaving," I said passing by my uncle in the kitchen. He had taken me in after both my parents went away on business. "Don't forget your keys," he said looking up from his paper. We had both pale skin and black hair but his eyes were a darker brown than mine. "I won't," I said grabbing my bag and closing the door behind me. As I walked through the front gate of my school the bell rang. I sighed and straightened out my tie before entering. The halls were empty as the bell gave a final ring. "Late again?" The security guard asked. "None of your concern," I said sarcastically. I walked past him and went to my class. "Is Blayze White here?" The teacher finished calling my name as I stepped through the door. "Here," I said grabbing a seat. As the teacher began the basic introductions and procedures, I fell asleep. I don't know for how long but when I woke up the class was empty. I gathered my things and prepared to go home. "Give me the money." A group of guys were harassing a girl outside the gate. She had on my school uniform and looked at me pleadingly. I sighed and walked over. "Here. Take my money and leave her alone." "How about you give us your money and we'll take hers' as well." The tallest one still only came up to my chest and the other two were holding down the girl. "Can you not start something? I'm tired." I yawned not bothering to look down at him. He sucked his teeth before kneeing me in the stomach. I doubled over in pain and he kicked me in my side. "I make the rules. Got it?" As he said that I lost control of my body. My vision turned red and I could feel myself pulling a psychotic smile. I stood up and put my hands in my pocket. "I'll play your game."
