Cook ta Czar

Not a story of mine, but a favourite fairytale-parable mine, gift from Moldavian folk-word tradition. Thought I will give it a translation, so others can ponder upon its content. Ponder, m**********r

Soo there used to be czar.  Invited he once foreign czars, kings and counselors of different sorts on a honest feast with lautarii singers.
 Three days before a festivities begun, summoned czar a cook, gave him money, and ordered  pay a visit to bazaar,  and buy there the most best and the most expensive that is there in world, so table would be filled with selective and handpicked yummies only.
  Cook did as told, visited bazaar, bought on all given money tongues, boiled them with different spices and prepared meals for czar’s table.  When guests have arrived, czar gathered them around the table and ordered to fill their plates.  Cook gave each one of them a piece of tongue.  Ate guests what was given them, asked czar for next dish.  
Cook again gave each of them rich piece of tongue.
Guests aren’t able understand anything, looking upon each other, wondering “Why they only have dishes from tongues here? Maybe it’s some kind of tradition, custom here?”
 So they ate what was, and waiting, what will be next.
Asked czar for a next dish, and again cook brought only tongues!
---Why we are not greeted here by anything else but tongues?�"Asking guests.
Summoned then czar his cook:
--- Did I not ordered you buy only the best and most pricey food there is in the world?!
So cook answered:
---Oh brightest czar of mine!  What can be better and more valuable in the world than a tongue? Tongue is capable of any--- Putting czars in their thrones, putting an end to wars, and negotiating peace!
Amazed were guests by wises of cook,  poured compliments on his savvy.  Then debated among themselves and decided: Cook must pay visit to bazaar again, and buy the cheapest, the worst there is in the world.
Did  cook as ordered, and returned with… tongue.
  Says then the czar,--Have I not told you buy only worst there is in the world?!
--- Oh brightest czar of mine! What is there in the whole world worse than a tongue? Is it not capable of destroying and making cheap anything--- friendship, harmony, peace?..�"Answered cook.
