HuesA Poem by ChloeI’ve always wanted to go to that enchanted place It’s filled with curves and peaks Like the swell of a body Winding roads lead to magical places where beauty is natural Its texture varies from area to area Mountainous to soft Collar bone to cheek Colors of variation litter the land Some are soft and gentle Skin tone and eye color Others show its strength and endurance Hair color and lip stain The climate is one to behold Collected and mesmerizing are the winds that give it life The exhale and inhale of the lungs The waters are warm and inviting, pooling and surrounding the surface Its peaks are hot and dangerous yet mystifying Dare not defy the anger of passion The eruptions bring life and destroy it The words emitted from the vocal cords The true amazement though lies within the hues The colors of the soul The eyes of the individual Multi-hued and captivating It embodies the soul of beauty in a form of rarity Never to be seen anywhere else Truly an enchanted place
