When You Love Someone

When you love someone,

You want to be the source of their happiness,

You want to be the reason they smile at night,

right before they close their eyes,

You want to be the reason they look forward,

to getting out of bed every morning,

You want to be the reason their heart beats fast,

The reason for the light in their eyes,

The reason they laugh,

When you love someone,

You want them to be happy,

And you have to find a way to be happy for them,

Even when you're not the reason.
