In Her Eyes

In Her Eyes

A Poem by The Girl Who Loved Too Much

In her eyes I saw serenity,

I heard whispers of promises of love,

I felt butterflies come alive,

I sensed forever,

Now she’s gone,

I keep my eyes closed,

Afraid I’ll never look into

another's,

And see those things again.
