The sun will come up tomorrow

The sun will come up tomorrow

A Poem by OhSnapShley

The wind blows the evergreen trees,
while the sun dances against the sea,
bobbing up and down on the waves,
until it's too tired and drifts to,
its final resting place.

A memory flashes to my mind,
as the sun sets and the waves start to cry,
they long for the sun to rise again,
in hopes it will soon dance with them.

The morning comes,
and the sun rises,
the waves in awe as it shines so brightly,
with glee they dance and sing and praise,
the sun has come out again to play.

A lovely piece.....

Very good use of personification and description of the interdependent relations between the sun and the waves. They exist for each other.

Nice work.

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it. They belong together indeed.
This little poem is cute. I like how you pernoifned the sun and how "the waves are in awe as it shines so brightly."
