-Choose your way-

In life, were given so many chances to make the right decision. But do we always make the correct one?

He lights the path for you, 

yet you chose the darkest way, 

every time you run,

when the signs clearly point for you to stay,

things will never get easier, 

when you make them so tough, 

things will never really change, 

if you always resort to giving up.

A malicious smile upon your face, 

twisting at a rapid pace, 

mind wanders to what could be, 

and then you change directions drastically, 

this is why you will never be, 

this is why you can never see, 

a life you live but you can't even decide, 

what it is that you do with your time. 

The clock ticks but doesn't tock, 

leaving you to wonder if you are you or not, 

Alice down the rabbit hole, 

head spinning, 

out of control, 

reaching the ground you will find, 

two paths, 

one dark and one light, 

and when you are given the chance, 

you chose the darkest path once again..

A very truthful write; many, many people choose this wrong pathway at critical points of life and to their detriment.

Generally it boils down to courage or the lack thereof and wanting to take the path of least resistance. But as we all know, nothing comes to those who do not struggle or work hard for what they want. Be that in everyday aspects of life or even in love itself.

A very nice piece of writing; infused with truths and simple wisdom.

This reminds me of the poem " The road not taken" by Robert Frost. Choices are always really very tough to take and always one has to decide the path which is best for them :)

The second stanza is my favorite. Especially
