A Poem by Alice Leigh Wolff

The bed where I built a map
Composed of silent streets
Meant for feet that travel alone
Inside of me
Away from you
Where my belly spread out:
A foreign land to house his hand
While in vain
My heart fumbled for substance
As it lost sight of you

I think it might just be me, but it seemed like it switched stories halfway through. It's good, it looks like you could go on if there's more to tell, and spelling/grammar is fine. Keep it up.
