Heart Broken

Heart Broken

A Poem by Odette

You were the one and only.
The one who loved me when I was lonely.
But things went down the drain,
And you left on the train.

You didn’t care about my feelings.
You were just a fraud but now I am healing.
My feelings for you are no more.
I may have been sore
From all the things you had said.
They went around and around in my head.
But I finally understood that you never loved me.
I was just a toy, and now I see.
That you were just a jerk,
But back then I went berserk
Now I know, I should have never trusted you.
I turned around, the wind blew.
And I learned my lesson,
To never trust you.

Author's Note

Odette
This is one of the first poems I ever made, so it might not be that great. I'm kind of hoping for some good reviews that can maybe help me improve on my future writing.

I think it was good for one of your first poems. And I bet lots of people can relate.
