Cross of Life

Cross of Life

A Poem by Odayin
"

Shape poetry or Concrete poetry. As you can see, it's in the shape of a cross

"

A symbol that's trusted,

An intersection of path,

Has meaning to be lusted,

Can cut pure souls in half.

It is a historical and meaningful symbol of certain religions to date,

A much beloved being painfully suspended from betrayal all alone,

Stories evilly crafted, minds twisted, and many sorrow cries of hate,

Brought down upon the famous figure with many throws of stone.

The emotions crash shore,

Trails left refuse being lit,

 Sadness strikes your core,

Puzzling wording won't fit.

Engravings upon the piece,

Just talk through the fable,

Repeating the sign at least,

You again become so stable.
