Placid PersistenceA Poem by OdayinShort and direct.I usually get lost in those misty eyes you wear, Staring into them, the light shimmering in the glare. You lusciously look back at me with a smile, And the connection starts, flowing like the Nile. I love the way your features shine in the moonlight, Holding you close, underneath the sky so bright. My urge to embrace you seems to never be overcome, But you oblige first, and it's equal to infinities sum. My magnetic images slide through, Suddenly your gone without a clue, I know death is what seems to be true, But I once flew, so I'll find you. © 2013 OdayinAuthor's Note
