Those crazy yellow eyes pierce your soul,
You look into the wolf's overwhelming past,
Knowledge of the empty phantoms it stole,
As it chased the moon on your vacant lasts.
The contact quickly gets terminated with lust,
The beating painfully throbs against your throat,
That absent instinct to save every mattering must,
Overtaking you, inexistent, upon your oasis it floats.
The trees bow down to the devils advocate,
Bending low to completely halt all exterior motion.
You realize there's a distant repulse with fate,
And that the wolf's soul will empty all it's emotion.
You will get the haphazard luxury of a witness,
Leaving all those worries far along the trail,
You sprint to the Alpha, not a second to miss,
Before he smiles maliciously and stares stale.
The transition is lusciously hidden in haze,
Both of your features simultaneously flare,
Your used body, thrown aside in deep daze,
And you feel the heartbeat, the one you now share.
I'm going to review the writing before I attempt the meaning.
So, here we go:
The rhymes are really amazing, and it has a impeccable rhythm. I love the language: Haphazard luxury of a witness, just great, really.
i would really love to know what inspired this, because its really unique, I have never heard of a poem about wolves except one of mine, and that's not really about wolves, it has to do with wolves, you know what I mean? But I figure this isn't really about wolves. I just... I just don;t know, I can't wrap my brain around it. Once school starts and I'm literate again I'll reread it, see if maybe I can figure it out XD.

This piece speaks to me of the contest within a pack for who has the right to be the Alpha. In the first stanza it's the young male feeling powerless against the might of the Alpha male, the second stanza is a flow of time, change and evolution with the young wolf, from pup to adult. The last stanza to me speaks of the transition of power, the old Alpha has grown weak and is now replaced by the new Alpha, who is has seen and learned from the pains of it's youth and now takes the steps into attaining the right to rule the pack.
Fascinating ink!

Okay...this isn't one of my few darker moments these days...so I'm gonna look at it from a different light for me..then read again when I'm in the darkness once more. It shouts to me of the boy becoming a man. Both are within but as the body matures the outer shell changes...though the inside stays true..but boy to man ..... subserviant to begin bowing to dictate...but realizing he can become greater than just a boy. A man hides deep within...though I'm lost on the yellow eyes...or just a representation of an inner desire to come forth...way off..but I'll read it again later. Very complex write ... amazing talent you really have. I love how you write :)

It is like a transformation..but not like into a werewolf as some may think. But if you mix yours with a wolf (that's the yellow eyes) you pretty much got it. It's kind of unique.
And thank you! That means a lot coming from you

Oh my God. I saw this on the read requests a while ago and shoved it off. Once I came back to it I started reading and I thought it was a sick poem you found and wanted me to see but then I saw the author's note and I was like "Same pic as Odayin? Whhaaatt?" then I saw your name and I was stunned. Amazing I have to say this is my favorite by you
