I'm the one that you can't stop thinking of
I'm the one that you wish you could have and the one
You can't seem to forget
I star in your daydreams for no other reason
Than you find me interesting;
Making you wish for something more
So you let out a sigh and think of what will never be
You get stupid whenever I come around, tongue tied, mind blank;
You're losing your focus
I'm the one you just can't reach.
Hardly can wait for me to be free
You say you want me but you won't make a move
All of these things are nothing but lies
I'm the one you hit up when you're bored
I'm the one you believe will be easy prey
You're either lonely or you're looking for a quick score;
Playing mind games that you think I will fall for
Boy don't you know better than that?
I may be inexperienced
I may be naive but baby you can believe
I'm finally picking up the signs
I'm readying myself for the lies and the make believe
You think it will be easy and
It won't be long until I'm in your arms;
You don't even know how wrong that you are
You're expecting to be some sort of saving grace
A knight in shining armor; but
I'm putting on my gear, preparing for a fight
I won't be anyone's challenge and
I won't be another doormat or
Verbal punching bag and
I damn sure won't be
Your one night booty call
