"

Take from this what you will.

"
One day your whole life is changed by a doctor that probably won’t care when the
door closes behind you and their one
word diagnosis.

You leave with a prescription for hope in your hand but quickly learn that hope is just a dirty four letter word; and before you know it everything that you have ever known has shattered into tiny, sharp shards that slice up your feet as you try your best to keep walking down the path they pave.

One f*****g word.
Cancer. Depression...
Any chronic illness. It doesn’t matter.
They strip you of everything you have and everything you know and leave you bare, empty, alone and often painfully out of reach from the ones that you love the most.
