Come and Go
You seem so distracted, some quiet.
It seems so, derived from somewhere deep inside.
Everything's turned inside out, logic, sour still.
Leaving it seems, so easy,
Inside my heart trembling, empty.
Reminded of past sensations.
Tell me why its so rehearsed.
Show me how to come and go.
It took the stars two hundred years to find us.
Took me two minutes to learn I failed us;
to bring death upon us, to bring age upon us.
The sun, sometimes is an ocean of fantasy.
When it doesn't seem right, when it always seemed taxing,
you'd just run.
Where are you going with my heart? Never sure.
What are you going to do with it, without yours?
A small piece of paper holds a drawing of our cupid.
A fetus, a longing, a hole, a grudge, a fantasy.
What intro would better suite this evil?
Who is really evil, here, in this home?
Painted on your face, with prescriptions in your hands.
When you stared, you glare into my glass.
Into your color, into my eyes.
Losing control, just come and go.
Like caverns of change, it seems to wander.
Turns, still chasing your star, seems pointless.
Met you two hundred years ago, meet me halfway?
Ecstasy and passion betrayed us, shined upon us.
Aged, tired, can change, we can change.
Negotiations, different paths lead us in the same directions.
Dead leaves this fall are an abandonment, it's so strange.
Giant afternoons pass with giant people pawing, it's all about you.
Ordinary chances, hopeful dreams, come and go.
Come and Go
