A Poem by Rosegal95

I am weak, I am broken.
I am empty and Lonely.
I am forgotten and lost.
I am hurt and dying.

Yet here you come, taking my hand.
Loving me.
Me.
The one unloved.
The one who is forgotten.
You picked me up,
Brushed off the dust
and carried me.
You carried me while I cried.
you carried me while I was terrified.
you held me closely.
you knew not to let me go.
you knew that I was still to weak to run on my own.
and you knew that some day I would soon be able to put my trust in you.
That someday I would let you come into my heart.
and make me strong.
Make me whole and full.
make me loved and Remembered.
That you would find me and you would heal me...
That you.
You
Would save me.

So here I stand...
Strong
Whole
Full
Loved
Remembered
Found
and
Healed.
I now know better than to ever let go of your hand.
I now know to walk beside you
and to let you take the lead.
I now know to hold tight and not to loose sight of you.
For when I loose you
I become blind and deaf to you and
I fall down to the world on my knees.
Letting it take me in
Consume me
Hold me
and break me down.
Never Again will this be allowed in your eyes
nor mine.
I love your warm embrace and your loving eyes.
The way that you look into my soul
and you pull out the bad.
You weed it and you maintain it...
Allowing it to grow and florish with your love.
Because
I
will
Not
be
forgotten.
I
Will
Be
Loved
By
You.
