Immortal Love

Immortal Love

A Poem by L. Catherine

Come with me, my love

And let us embrace.

We shall defy the laws and let

Our affection thrive.

I will forever be yours,

Your faithful servant,

Your soulmate.

The passion will flow

From our hearts

And into each others’ souls.

Although I belong to another,

Let us recreate a classic tale.

I shall be your Mina,

And you my Dracula.

Leave Harker behind

And go against Bram Stoker’s words.

We shall be a modern alternate ending

To an ingenious story.

So kiss me my love,

And in that kiss,

Take my life away.

when i got to, " although i belong to another, let us recreate a classic tale" i thought of dracula, and sure enough, it was. I loved it, it was amazing as all of your poems are, and i want more poems like this
