Flight of a RavenA Poem by L. CatherineAs the sky darkens to an ominous black, Thunder is the only sound pervading the air. The rain slides off my delicate frame, making my features almost iridescent. A lone wolf howls For the love it has forgotten. As I soar above, I feel pity upon that soul. I fear not the lightning, Nor the thunder. Why bother with weather When you ride upon it, Control it, manipulate it. Sadly, the night cannot Keep me hidden evermore. At dawn, I shall rest And once again Become a mere shadow of night. © 2011 L. CatherineFeatured Review
