Many Moons LaterA Poem by AlskarOf all cosmic wastes And divine entities I catch your thoughts And listen not to Spellbound notions Of tropic nightly fancy But to doubt. Time is our supernova. A spark in a shroud Of shattered glass. Burn for a sunny second Then collapse. Your hand is but a Star on earth, to the sky. And fingers atoms to The breathing horizon. They are my universe. And yet, as many moons ago They lose grip. And my Saturn eyes freeze. © 2011 AlskarReviews
