Many Moons Later

Many Moons Later

A Poem by Alskar

Of all cosmic wastes
And divine entities
I catch your thoughts
And listen not to
Spellbound notions
Of tropic nightly fancy
But to doubt.
Time is our supernova.
A spark in a shroud
Of shattered glass.
Burn for a sunny second
Then collapse.
Your hand is but a
Star on earth, to the sky.
And fingers atoms to
The breathing horizon.
They are my universe.
And yet, as many moons ago
They lose grip.
And my Saturn eyes freeze.

It`s amazing how you feel the connection between cosmic energies and human love...I love it!

We are but a tiny part of the universe, as we are love. Nice comparisons, wonderful words.

This is incredibly beautiful. The feeling of this poem touches me and I love how slow the pace for it.

Oi! You, the Maker of Bubbles!
If you don't have something nice to say, DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.

In any case, I think it's quite lovely :3
Keep writing.

Your imagery is amazing! It really gets me thinking, very poetic. My favorite part of this poem is definitely the last line, because it makes us all pause at its abrupt ending, and the effect is outstanding.
