SnowfieldA Poem by AlskarPassed. Lifting life to melting stars. Wishes fade, so has fire. Lost in the continuum of the numb. One in the world of all. White where magic bloomed. Periwinkle washed frost, and Heroes held static, while Air struggles to breathe. Beneath the statue prince Tokened with fair delight His offering to the falling. Warm the abdicated, Comfort her starless heart. Last lips, her timeless saviour Before accepting what’s left behind. Cold caging chest. Kneeling in glitter daggers That cease when left alone, The prince just stares. Acceptance brought her justice With soft flame on pale ears His life blew into her world, Shining, weeping glass moons, Cerises through the paper land, Exploding bleak and Scopes with no adventure. Lights rise, and daggers Haunt another world. Princess, spread amongst the Spectrum of life, waits. Shudder, quake, Eyes her colour move. Hat as her crown, she rose. Saving her, he gazed. Smiles played, and royals of The snowfield married with a wish, Stars bright and healed above, Danced as time aged beyond Periwinkle leaves. The prince twirled his lover A cry of new dawn to the sky, Blurring, water colour palette, Melting once again, as the prince Caught his love in his arms, Her crown slipping without care. Then. Snow. Awake, the princess blanked And waits for years amongst the daggers. © 2012 AlskarReviews
