I think something about life that I realize is that it is not about whom you spend the most time with, have the most experiences with, and the most history. It's not about the beginning, nor the middle. Maybe it's all about who is actually there with you, in the end, and all that transpires in those very last moments.

Was a good song back in the eighties I believe. "Love the one you are with." The concept of time is a great mystery. I learn the past is important. Can find you. The poem open the door to a great discussion. I learn best to be kind and positive. Negative thoughts and actions will bite you in the a*s. I do agree. We need to enjoy the present and hope for a good day tomorrow. Thank you for the outstanding poem.
