StringsA Poem by Obscure MeaningLife's a stage after allPuppets, all with a ghastly face Subjected to the same fate Tangled strings keeping us aloft Dangling and suspended from space Puppets, each and every one of us Stitched sewn and snipped to perform Can't escape the stage of life This is what we are, don't cuss Puppets, do we really choose our fate? Just go were directed Trying to take centre stage in life's play That girl over there your chosen mate Whose pulling your strings? Instinct or divine inspiration Cut yourself free at your peril For fear you fall motionless Indefinitely paralyzed
