Of cold and men

Of cold and men

A Poem by Obscure Meaning
"

What truly makes a man?

"
The primeval instinct
Inspired by Y chromosomes most likely
Drives men to idiocy

It is manly to not feel cold
to experience the ice pricking him
Wether it be his mind or physique

The man does not fear bitterness

Man revels in gelid
It defines him, the danger.
The rush of cool, purifying his essence

For pain, hurt and stupidity
are one and the same
All which are necessary for a man
All which when combined make him numb

Pain for the mind
Hurt for the flesh
And stupidity to fulfill the needs of a Y

When Boy turns to man
He must feel the chill, bathe in the Ice
Know it's freezing touch inside out

Well, as a woman, I can of course appreciate this piece. :)
First of all, a correction in grammar, since I'm a big bad Grammar Nazi. The last line, it's should be its. You only use the apostrophe in that word if you are forming the contraction "it is".
Lastly, but not leastly, this is excellent, honest, yet witty and humorous work. Nicely penned.
