'Oh get a grip'

'Oh get a grip'

A Poem by Obscure Meaning
"

Winter love? Don't let it slip away.

"
'Oh get a grip'
Thats life,
try to maintain sanity, feet firmly planted.
Rooted to the spot, tangled into the earth.
clutching defiantly to the same spot
you know where your at

Winter dawns
Frosty, frigid, freezing
An increasingly difficult affair to stay still
Hard to stay in one place, with one person
Feel the bitter cold, penetrating the soul,
Lost your grip, it's life.

Pushed onto the ice, try to skate,
do you fall or glide?
When you plummet experience the stabbing pain
Does it bring clarity?
At the end of the year, when all is ending.
Bring you back to earth
Smash the ice and find soil beneath.

Entrench yourself once more,
Dig deeper, learn the lesson.
Bud for spring,
It's all happened before, does it have to again.
