Chair DespairedA Poem by ObZenA chair envious of man with legs that can move. Reminded when they're sat on their 4 immobile legs
Paralyzed ; immobile.
Longing for solace in life. Yet, except for he alone, man notices nothing of the world that surrounds him. Lack of empathy; Ignorance manifests itself in cruelty. Four legs and an inescapable fate. Feelings Demoralized and insulted as he observes man, parading his legs. As it's tendancy, life displays how crass and unfair it will be. In the manner by which the chair stands can, just as well, describe its suffering - In hopeless perpetuity. For Man's legs it seethes with resentment, they are often rested atop the surface of its own. That very act which condemns a chair to absolute despair. © 2017 ObZenAuthor's Note
