Rogue Glass Shards

Rogue Glass Shards

A Poem by ObZen
"

Metaphor for an alcoholic who recovers

"
Glasses can be half full,
 Glasses can seem half empty,
 Glasses fall to the ground,
Shattered Shards play lost and found,
Man plays on repeat memories, Of times the potion in cup was held,
Able to rebuild his glass, Yet unable to keep filled,
Drags around with the empty glass, Living in insatiability, but nothing of his fault,
Near death he speaks to the heavens, Rain falls, his cuppeth overflows.
