WAY BACK HOME

IT WAS A POEM OF CHILD WHO WAS committing suicide......

The road back home is the,
Only way more and more,
With each day it's more,
Evident this world is not for me.
I tried suicide when I was 10,
People who really know me think,
I'm just a disease, a cancer that erases away,
I never get to see your precious face,
Or whisper a word in your ears to feel you're safe.

I will never get to fall asleep in your arms,
I will never get to hear you laugh and giggle.
Before committing suicide I realized one thing...
If you don't remember who you really are,
You can't find your way back home...
I turn away my face and,
Find my way back home...

How sad that some so young are already so tired. It's a fact of life though. It's tough to confront issues like suicide in a way that isn't highly emotional. As someone else said, it's a deep topic to explore. Thank you for sharing.

thanks for the review and this poem is on my friend he tried so many things but atlast he got his family back.... this was a poem on him.. i hope u enjoyed reading it :)

Okay, so I find it kind of hard to comment on this since we worked together irl to type it and fix any issues and make it better... XD But I think from what I saw originally and now, it is very deep and soulful, and it reaches out to the heart, and gives me a vision of a soul caught in a nothingness, between two places, always drifting, suffering, but never able to get to the other. I really liked it, and I think it should be read. But I also wonder, does this have a kernel of personal truth in it too?

A sad truth of what happened to many. Good theme to explore. I would encourage you to use more poetic devices to draw the reader in.
