Willing Captive

Willing Captive

A Poem by Avelina Devi
"

Someone I loved once gave me a box full of darkness. It took me years to understand that this too, was a gift.

"
Willing captive

Darkness soothes my aching heart
as music drowns out my sorrow
and shadows dance upon the walls
of a weary soul that's fading...

...fading

How I dread to see the morrow
'cause the day wont end my sorrow
for tonight holds me a willing slave
captivated by an allure never ending.

Someone I loved once gave me a box full of darkness. It took me years to understand that this too, was a gift... as far as I am concerned, your words above are priceless...

The words that follow them simply must be read, they need to be... come on folks, dive in.. enjoy.. I bloomin well did... Neville
