I was originally dismayed, thinking this would be another one of those "I'm going to string together a bunch of pretty-sounding words with no truth or meaning and it's going to be ART!!1!" poems, but you proved me wrong by conveying a message and painting a stunningly vivid picture. I also think that this is the first time I've seen an image incorporated in a poem where it's not a distraction/bold/irrelevant, but actually further assists the poem and suits it nicely. Overall, fantastic.
