Merry Christmas Darling, Won't You Take Me Home? Part 2A Poem by NymphetamineDameThere may be a part 3, I am unsure.
Her lips possessed the most lovely cupids bow that I had ever seen
The way one side of her mouth when up further than the other when she smiled Her facial structure, her bangs, her doe eyes, her everything She had no idea, of the beauty she possessed As much as I wanted to tell her all of this, it was not the time or place The store announcement annoyingly reminded us that it would be closed soon I didn't want to leave her "Where will you go after the store closes?" I asked her She avoided my gaze for a moment, avoided the question in general for another few She hopelessly sighed, turned to meet my gaze and breathlessly responded: "I don't know" My caretaker response kicked in and before I was asking her if she would care to have a coffee "Please" She answered We walked to the nearest coffee shop, she insisted since it was only about a minute walk I offered to drive, but she politely declined and I understood, who could blame her I was likely twice her age, mumbling about coffee and had kissed her hand She found us a place to sit and I got the coffee She thanked me, even though she scowled when I would not take her money She told me about her situation and why she couldn't go back home that night I felt obligated to offer her a safe place to stay, but how could I, without it sounding wrong "Tell me, what would you like me to say to you, right now. Anything." I asked her With almost an automatic response, she looked in my eyes while she answered, "I wish you would say: 'Merry Christmas darling, won't you let me take you home?'"
