She was MoeA Poem by NymphetamineDameWhat do you remember about her?
She smelled like Sandalwood. It was intoxicating, as was she Upon a first glance, her auburn hair was
fire in my eyes She set ablaze a part of myself that I
had forgotten existed Her skin was translucent in the light She looked to be about 19
I often wonder what happened to her I only saw her that one instance She will forever leave a lasting imprint
on my soul She was sitting in a field with her legs
crossed as I approached her Her eyes turned towards mine about 20
steps away Pale and beautiful, her eyes saw right
through me
I asked her what she was doing She told me about a story she had been
writing And expressed her love of nature Her passion was strong enough to engulf
her aura and my own Golden white surrounded us We talked for hours about the universe
Day turned into night Her brightness became clouded It seemed as though the passion fizzled
out Her words became sparingly Quiet And she left as the dew began to fall
I never got her name, but did I really
need it? She bared her soul in the purest sense
to me And here I sit, dumbfounded and unable
to think of anything but her Her aroma still lingered on my skin Her energy still warmed and smothered
the air around me It felt as though she was still sitting
right beside me
She was Moe, a moe girl to me A particular kind of beautiful, only
known to her I would dance with Moe if she allowed me Place my hand in hers, Run with her through fields until she
felt free Beneath a clear night sky with an intoxicating breeze Anything to show her The lasting imprint burned into me © 2015 NymphetamineDame |
