For I am

For I am

A Poem by NymphetamineDame
"

Just a little something to build onto.

"
For I am numb,
For I am dumb,
For I am a fool,
For believing there is hope

Sounds interesting. It's always fascinating to challenge the feathers of life, & of course, to conquer 'em .. to make life meaningful, peaceful, & beautiful living.

I look forward to reading your work!

Some people fee the same way about God. I don't think there's anything wrong with having hope. Some things take a long time in life. Frustration is sometimes a part of that.

I always hold onto one thread of hope, one.

Who knows, one thread may be what starts a bundle. Or at least another thread.
A soft, subtle glimpse of one burned once too often, yet somehow still holding on. I could relate so well to those feelings of foolishness for believing.. in life's goodness.. in love's eternal nature.. in myself when all others left me for dead. A powerful foundation for more. xo

I do not think that one needs to feel dumb or foolish for having hope...all things begin with a hope of some form, I believe.
