Black And Blue, I'll Always Love You

Black And Blue, I'll Always Love You

A Poem by NymphetamineDame
"

A poem written back in high school.

"
Boy, with his eyes blacked out
Darkest moonlight minus the sun
I call upon you
You, with the charcoal hair
You, with the exquisite structure
And you, with a heart hanging on by only a fiber
Combined into one, we've got ourselves a killer

He's damaged you see, welcome to his unraveling, I've got a front row seat
The finest doctor could not mend these gouges
His eyes glazed, in which bruises leak
His skin snow white, most utterly beautiful
I told him 'six lives until we meet again'
He was irresponsible and now has one life left

I was just a voice hid up in his head
Never would he meet me in the actual flesh
Used and abused, he sliced again
I grasped the razor and away it flew
He knew of my presence, yet I was not physically there
Pathetic boy, he soon tried again
And with my voice in the stale air, I said...

'Black and blue, I'll comfort you'
He soon froze, like that of before
Soon enough, he understood the meaning
But not the love, the hidden love
The hidden love, which I hid from him
That never extinguished the urge
To get tangled up in his bones

Not alone, he was
Never alone, he would be
I brought him into my own world
A paradise of swirling colors
He gladly accepted, the lost cause boy
We now skip, beneath the blood red sky
And after all, sixth times a charm right?
