Little Signs of Love

Little Signs of Love

A Poem by Red
"

Just a little touch deprived girl craving hugs from her girlfriend

"
Each moment she reaches out to me, I crave her touch.
But she always pulls back.
I feel her wrap her arm around me. Instantly, my face is on fire and my knees go weak.
But she takes her arm away.
She holds my hands to warm them up, they're already clammy from my nerves.
But we step back into the building, and her hand loosens around mine.
Her head falls on my shoulder.
"I'm tired," she says.
Then let your head rest here, and stay close to me, I think.
I only laugh and pat her hair lovingly.
Why don't we show each other how much we care? Why don't we share our little signs of love?
Maybe its because I don't like being touched. But I don't mind when its her who's hugging me. Or it's her clutching my hand.
I love her.
I want her to know it.

This poem is so sweet. Your girlfriend must be very lucky to have such a wonderful significant other. I'm sure if they read this poem, next time they see you they will embrace you and tell you how much they love you.

This is an incredibly sweet poem, and whoever your significant other is must be really very happy with you. Although, you could clarify what "the building" is in your 6th line. otherwise, this is a very considerate piece.
