A Poem by Nykkiicia Cion

I’ve been floating
Ever since the wind
Snatched me from your fingers
It was really more of a gentle tug –
So easy for you to let go
And I call for you
Bending, twisting, folding
Being flung about so
Mercilessly
Did you notice me drifting?
Just a glance would have shown
How wide the rift became between us
But
You let me float
And you laughed
It was your intention
To let me go all along

About
I try to be a poet. My writing is my therapy I think...it started to save me since I was 14 years old...and it hasnt lost its grip on me yet. I enjoy that I can share my mind with complete strangers a.. more..
