7 Deadly Sins Sonnets -#5 Wrath

7 Deadly Sins Sonnets -#5 Wrath

A Poem by Nyghtmare13
"

This is the fifth of seven sonnets concerning the Seven Deadly Sins, as defined by the Catholic Church. They are older poems that I wrote in High School.

"

Your horrible anger drives us all mad.

You never seem to think of happy thoughts.

You make us wish we never had

Meet you or put up with you crazy lots.

Your fury is beginning to bore me.

You hate us all with a burning passion.

You never understand your painful fee,

Because you are lacking in sensation.

Kindness is the virtue you are lacking,

If you were kind to me, the world would end.

You constantly yell at us for slacking,

Though you do nothing, you will never bend.

To everybody you are resentful,

The Fifth deadly sin, wrath is powerful.
