Because the mightiest heroes have their fatal flaw

Roars that echoes past the mountains

Ear-splitting blasts of words-

Of words made only to destroy-

the pillars that holds my sanity

 

Have you ever heard that Deafening silence?

Or those intense yet silently mumbling monsters?

Those words crawling and crushing you from the inside

Those words climbing and covering like some cloth of a kind

 

Hear me,

Hear this battle-cry!

For my heart is wavering

For I need you to brace my back

 

As I lead you all to this war,

I will be tough, I will be stout

Still, I’m vulnerable, and slowly,

Despair is eating through me
