Mind in PandemoniumA Poem by NyghtA requiem sung for the lost refuge, Crumpled pieces buried down. For the world left underneath the ground, Won’t hear the call of the damned
In a realm ruled in insanity, A glimpse of light shone through her eyes. The kind of light which you would hold dear For your fear of the dark rises as she departs
You guarded her heart, You guided her soul. But not until the cruel fate, willed to set you apart.
As the long nights grew longer, You longed silently, Feeding your thoughts, Asking yourself.
Why? How? How could you wake up With your hands on a bloody knife And why, Why is it stuck on her heart? © 2016 NyghtAuthor's Note
