Love RaceA Poem by Mingel
I miss you
But I hear you have somebody new Whatever happened to us beau? I suddenly turned to that gal you once knew? She must be a pretty dime To commit the perfect crime Stealing your heart and breaking mine Remember Perfect Two? I know it's a little late But i realize i'm a fool A fool to let my heart say yes A fool to believe you thought I was a jewel But wow, did I come last In this love race For you it was just lust For me, my heart gave you trust At first was I a must? Then i became a just? Just there To wear and tear To take all and leave bare Then I get the boot The short stick The hive ho Should I say more? Am I not a sad case? Entering and losing this love race
