Through darkness
hushed whispers held
a hinted sweetness pressed
t'ween yielding lips the
mnemonic tease
of honeysuckle
fingers trailing lithe tendrils
enveloping, obscuring
memories shared
in their neglect
of a summer-night's
Remembrance
forgotten
but that lingering scent
and a velvet sensation
clasped to the heart
