WalkingA Poem by NumbWalking She keeps up her pace While holding her head High and standing tall Walking Listening for Him Only to hear his Heart beating for Her Walking Wishing for a new Life And that she would not Remember what He did Walking In her bare feet on A path of silver light That leads to nowhere Walking Towards that place where She will maybe be at peace She’ll be free of Him Walking To that last place where She can finally be happy Her cares will be gone Walking Toward that bright light Not regretting a thing That She said to Him Walking All alone as He forgets She even existed and that He is the reason that She Walked © 2010 NumbAuthor's Note
