Masked LoveA Poem by Abu NumanLove in the time of Corona Pandemic!
No rendezvous was held for long days
Since you'd been at home cautious towards the pandemic. Like mesmerised, the beau's enamoured mind Took him to you leaving the safe residence On paddling cycle those twoscore kilometres away To the burg, squarely, in front of your alleyed abode. Having heard the cycle-ring, too wary you- Wearing mask came to the balcony straight-above-street. Not seeing the masked chuckling face Merely keeping his eyes on yours Inamorato found serenity in own essence As those eyes been vase where love had bloomed. © 2024 Abu NumanAuthor's Note
