i fell into a hole today.

A sad poem.

fell into                                    a hole today

fell so long                                 I was going up

fell so hard                                 to my dismay

fell so long                             my brain stopped

dropped down                       through a briar patch

stopped to                            pick a blood red rose

fell so long                           my mind unlatched

fell so hard                                 god only knows

punched through                      to a waiting room

stopped to                               pick my mother's child out

fell so long                              I got to zoom

fell so hard                               I couldn't shout

tunneled through                     a middle school

stopped to                                take a bully down

fell so long                               felt like a bullet

fell so hard                              passed up some friends

pounded through                     a lively high school

stopped to                                   paint the blood red town

fell so long                              I fell asleep

fell so hard                                   I gave up trying

crashed through                             to a dead end job

stopped to                                     take one quick rest

fell so long                                      I started crying

fell so hard                                    I tried faux happiness

stumbled through                        a waiting room

stopped to                                      buy some oxy

fell so long                                    I felt like heaven

fell so hard                                        but who cares really

floated through                               an opportunity

stopped to                                        overdose and almost die

fell so long                                         it got so dark

fell so hard                                 I got so scared

fell so hard       I got so lonely

fell so long  I missed the world around me

fell into a funeral

                I miss the falling.
