Don’t Stop the Rain

 

If I never weathered a raging storm

How would I know the beauty of sunshine?

 

If I was never left with a bitter taste

How would I know the pleasure of sweetness?

 

If my heart was never broken

How would I know how to appreciate tender love?

 

If I never lost anything in life

How would I know the beauty of winning?

 

If I never veered off the path

How would I know how good it feels to be right where I am supposed to be?

 

I won’t grow without water; the sun alone will just burn

There will be no rainbow without a little rain

So give me sunshine and warmth surrounding

But please;

Don’t stop the rain.
