Tears like RainA Poem by November GoldI called for you today, did you hear me? I reached for you today, did you feel me? Guidance is what I asked for consuming comfort is what I need. Open and gaping, pain that rapes a heart that so often just bleeds. On my knees I fall and ask for your hand I don't know how to rise I'm not sure I can stand. I need a laying on of hands I need your gentle soul; I need you to come to me now I long to feel whole. Words that trip and stumble over one another so clumsy Not sure I care how it flows I just need you to read me. I called to you today, through my tears I begged... The heavens opened up tonight and rain began to fall...is it you crying with me, releasing the loss? The times that were stolen, the moments we didnt get the fatherly way you would have scolded and all the ways you would have molded me into a girl her father loves one that a man would behold and shower with respect. I am an image of you, a being in which you dwell; I feel like a child, needy and weak and quietly I listen, waiting for you to speak to me of life and of love and the powers that be point me in the right direction, please find me, because you I seek. I stepped outside into the night and felt the rain on my face... in the darkness i reached and sadness was replaced with the soothing of the rain as it washed over my tear stained cheeks; Quietly I submit and know that you are there in my tears and the rain just everywhere.
