Hello

Hello

A Poem by November Gold
"

And now a word from our Sponsor

"

I felt you just then

The way your heart ached

And cried inside

(could you feel me?)

I felt the way you hurt

And that you wanted to hide

(reach for me)

Let me love that away

Let me heal your pain

Just trust in me

Stand with me in the rain

(I won't let you fall)

Lean on me when you’re weak

Reach for me when you stumble

Embrace me when you’re happy

Share with me your joys

Surrender to me your sorrows

(I am here for you)

Step off the ledge and trust in your wings

Close your eyes

don’t think twice

(Now is not the time for second guessing)

Do you see how you’re flying?
not yet? It’s OK,

Just keep trying

(You will not fail)

Feel your heart racing?

It’s closer than you think

Just around the corner, are you listening?

(Please hear me now)

Step off the ledge just trust in your wings

……..and then open them wide and just soar!

“A letter from God”

I know the rhyme and flow is not quite right, but I make no apologies for this one. Sometimes you just have to go with what you hear or see in your mind/heart, and I heard this loud and clear, so I gave it to you just as He gave it to me, and it's not about the words or the flow it's about the message that I received.

A amazing poem. I like the set-up of the poem. Making each point stronger and giving strength to the poem.
"Lean on me when you’re weak
Reach for me when you stumble
Embrace me when you’re happy
Share with me your joys
Surrender to me your sorrows"
Thank you for a excellent poem.

I Love the lines in parentheses. I saw them as subtexts, whispers, that somehow were stronger there than the rest of the lines. There was an unyielding strength in those whispers. Whispers of power. And once I got to the last line, I completely understood it. Haha. Great. Just great.

i really was intune with certain lines like "I felt you just then, the way your heart ached, and cried inside, could you feel me"? also the line, "Share with me your joys, surrender to me your sorrowss, i am here for you, step off the ledge and trust in your wings". so powerful, i can hear the message that god is speaking to you, i can visualize and hear how important it is to trust in him. i really enjoyed your way of with words.

I like the bold interjections it's like an inner conversation going on. Sometimes the best poetry is when it's raw unedited and unfiltered. This poem is certainly unfiltered and raw but lines like "step off the ledge and trust in your wings" can only be spontaneous. Good stuff

surrender to me your sorrows ~ trust in your wings ~ I love the message of hope throughout this poem but especially here in these two lines. Faith moves moutains and human hearts as did your poem, I find we all need to listen to good advice and spread our wings at times. Nicely penned, keep em coming
