Just something I wrote my mom

A mothers love is soft and kind

A mothers love is warmth when life is cold

Her love will embarrass you at times

And she will hold you when you fold

Her love will protect you from the monsters

She can be your light in the dark.

So where is mine?

Where is the mothers love I dream about

Where is the love that doesn’t brake you down

Where is the love that doesn’t poison you and make you weak

Where is the mothers love that I so desperately need?
