Quicksand

Quicksand

A Poem by Jaja Reigns

Sadness was hungry
It's eating me slowly
I couldn't break free
Is there someone who can save me?

Depression at its finest
It hits me the hardest
The place I'm in is the darkest
Don't wanna give in, so I protest

But I don't want to lie,
the grip is achingly tight
Can't escape no matter how I fight
Dying is the only option, maybe I might.

Can someone also hear the noises?
Please, don't listen to the voices
It's not something with friendly faces
I fell for it, It broke me into pieces
